Walnut : 2 Political Forums Slated

Candidates for the City Council vacancy will be able to air their views at two political forums.
The first forum, sponsored by the Walnut Valley Women’s Club, will be held this Thursday at 7 p.m. in the Community Center at City Hall, 21201 La Puente Road. The second, sponsored by the St. Lorenzo Roman Catholic Parish, is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Oct. 29 in the council chambers at City Hall.
Seven candidates are vying in the Nov. 3 election for the three-year unexpired term of Councilman Ray T. Watson, who died of a heart attack in June.
