Girls will be able to play on their Texas high school football teams under a rule adopted by the University Interscholastic League Legislative Council.
“I don’t think anybody here on the council wants their girls playing football, but if you want yours to try and get out there, that’s your risk to take,” UIL director Bailey Marshall said.
