Long Beach : HalloweenFest Moves to Downtown MarketPlace

The annual HalloweenFest and Kinetic Sculpture Challenge will be moved from Rainbow Lagoon because of construction on the Long Beach Convention and Entertainment Center expansion project, sponsors said.
Instead, HalloweenFest will be at the Downtown MarketPlace on the Promenade, half a block west of Long Beach Boulevard, between Ocean Boulevard and 3rd Street, said officials of the International Mardi Gras Assn.
They also have added another day of activities. The festival will be open from 10 a.m. to 11 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday. Information: (310) 983-8600.
