Countywide : Advisory Council Chairman Resigns

Duane Skavdahl, the chairman of the Oak Park Municipal Advisory Council, has announced that he is resigning from the position that he has held since 1989.
The council advises the Ventura County Board of Supervisors on matters involving the unincorporated community in the eastern part of the county.
Lenora Kirby, administrative assistant to Supervisor Maria VanderKolk, said her office will accept nominations for a replacement until the council’s next meeting Nov. 24.
