* * 1/2 Sade, “Love Deluxe,” Epic. Sade’s signature--those super-cool, understated, rather detached vocals--hasn’t changed during her four-year recording hiatus, but some of the mellow, New Age-style material here is a bad imitation of Enya’s ultra-soothing mood music. A few of the tunes, gently underscored by Brazilian rhythms, do make good romantic background music.
