Paintings Found: Police in Erfurt, Germany, have recovered eight paintings by a 16th-Century German master that were stolen from a museum three weeks ago in the country’s biggest art theft since World War II. Among the works by Lucas Cranach the Elder was a portrait of church reformer Martin Luther worth $9.5 million.
