The Vancouver Canucks acquired center Anatoli Semenov from the Tampa Bay Lightning in a trade. Vancouver sent minor league forward Dave Capuano and a fourth-round draft pick in 1994 to the expansion team for Semenov, who at 6 feet 2 and 190 pounds, filled the Canucks’ need for big center.
