Liberty Day Parade

BELLFLOWER — Marching bands, drill teams, equestrian units, antique automobiles and 600 elementary school students marching against drugs will highlight Bellflower’s annual Liberty Day Parade on Saturday.
The parade along Bellflower Boulevard will begin at 11 a.m. at Walnut Street and move north to Jefferson Street. KTLA sportscaster Ed Arnold will be grand marshal.
Liberty Day also marks the 35th anniversary of Bellflower’s incorporation as a city, with festivities scheduled for 6 p.m. at Thompson Park, 14001 S. Bellflower Blvd.
