Glendora : Condo Project Rejected

Residents on Candish Avenue and Burnaby Drive will not have a two-story condominium overlooking their back yards, but a two-story office building with big, bay windows could move in next week.
J. & M. Bortnik, the property owner at 1015-1021 E. Arrow Highway, on Tuesday night sought a zoning change for the 1.49-acre lot from commercial to residential, allowing construction of condominiums or apartments.
Ten area residents attended the council meeting, and three spoke in opposition. They complained that the height of the condominiums would allow the residents to look into their back yards.
