A Tribute to Heroes

: In a solemn ceremony attended by several hundred people, the 2,226 American military personnel still listed as missing in Southeast Asia were honored Wednesday at Inglewood Park Cemetery-Mortuary. Rep. Maxine Waters (D-Los Angeles) helped formally dedicate a bronze plaque honoring the missing Americans as well as all veterans of the armed services.
The Veterans Day celebration featured two high school marching bands, drill teams, ROTC cadets from two Inglewood high schools and a display of National Guard equipment.
