No Growth Seen in Western Germany’s Economy: The German government’s independent Council of Economic Advisers expects the west German economy to show zero growth in 1993, the Sueddeutsche Zeitung newspaper reported. The newspaper obtained an advance copy of the annual report by the council, which is due to be presented to Chancellor Helmut Kohl today. It did not specify whether the zero real growth forecast was for gross national product or gross domestic product, but in either case the prognosis would be the gloomiest yet by leading economists.
