Nordhoff 35, Serrano 8--Running back Adam Blundell rushed 20 times for 134 yards and a touchdown and Josh Hawkins added 97 yards and two scores in just seven tries to pace the host Rangers (10-1). The victory ran Nordhoff’s winning streak to eight games.
Quarterback Steve Saum completed eight of 11 passes for 115 yards and a touchdown as the Rangers rolled up 378 yards in total offense.
Nordhoff, which plays Paso Robles next week, sacked Serrano’s quarterbacks 10 times, including four by defensive end Justin Hart, in limiting Serrano (4-7) to 96 yards in total offense.
