Bret Hanover, 30, who retired as the richest and fastest harness racing horse of all time, was destroyed at Castleton Farm in Lexington, Ky., Saturday. Bret Hanover, who won 62 of 68 races and $922,616 from 1964-66, reportedly was suffering from colic.
