What Did Vote for Toll Road Really Allow?

When I addressed my class today about the importance of our environment to their future, my thoughts went to the destruction of California’s last, minuscule portion of Orange County’s wetlands.
The fact that we’re destroying the habitat of 15 streams for 1,500 jobs is perplexing--not only for myself, but for my students. Nature cannot be replaced or mirrored. What happened to our priorities? What do we leave for youth?
Shame, Coastal Commission, shame!
