At the Chaffey men’s basketball tournament:
Rancho Santiago 104, Cerro Coso 63--Ruben Oronoz scored 22 points, and Joe Foss added 16 to lead Rancho Santiago (4-3) to an easy victory in the third-place game at Alta Loma.
Barstow 77, Golden West 74--Josh Lewis had 20 points and six steals for Golden West (3-3) in the consolation final.
In a nonconference game:
Irvine Valley 110, Pasadena 97--Gabe Higa had 27 points and six rebounds and Dan Bathey added 25 points for visiting Irvine Valley (3-2). Chris Kostoff had 13 points and 10 assists for the Lasers.
In nonconference women’s basketball:
Orange Coast 89, San Diego Mesa 66--Jana Davis scored 19 points and Ricarda Kuypers had 16 points and 13 assists to lead visiting OCC (5-0). Colleen Hatch added 18 points for the Pirates.
