Tracy Harris Patterson and Wilfredo Vasquez retained their world super-bantamweight titles at Berck, France.
Patterson, of Highland, N.Y., the adopted son of former heavyweight champion Floyd Patterson, kept his World Boxing Council title by fighting former champion Daniel Zaragoza of Mexico to a draw.
Vasquez, of Puerto Rico, was declared the winner of his World Boxing Assn. bout with Thierry Jacob of France after a ringside doctor ordered the fight stopped in the eighth round because of a deep cut over Jacob’s left eye.
