Five-year resident Chris Cormack has been appointed by the city to serve on the Parks and Recreation Commission in the Community Services Department.
The seven-member commission meets monthly to discuss the parks and recreation activities in the city, and to make recommendations to the City Council for improvements. It serves as a liaison between Tustin residents and council members.
Cormack, 37, has previously served as a parks representative for the PepperTree neighborhood, an elected position.
