Paramount Forms New Division: Paramount Communications Inc., parent of Paramount Pictures, formed the division to handle the development and integration of new technologies in its entertainment and publishing operations. The technology group will establish a product research and development center and evaluate how emerging technologies fit into Paramount’s overall business strategy. Keith E. Schaefer was appointed president of the group.
