HOOSIER CROW: Chapman University President James L. Doti was so sure of his analysis showing President Bush being reelected that he promised Chapman trustee George Argyros at his annual economic forecast a year ago that he’d eat crow if he was wrong. . . . So that’s what Doti did, at this year’s conference before 1,000 people. Well, not really crow. The main course was quail. Doti had counted too many points for Desert Storm and too few for sluggish income growth.
