Washington State strong safety Signor Mobley was charged with second-degree possession of stolen property in the use of a stolen telephone credit card, the Whitman County prosecutor said in Colfax, Wash. He faces a Jan. 8 appearance in Superior Court.
Cougar Coach Mike Price could not be reached for comment on whether Mobley would be eligible to play against Utah in the Copper Bowl at Tucson on Dec. 29.
