The Metrolink commuter rail system is offering a two-for-the-price-of-one inducement to buy a monthly pass. Riders who buy a pass this month can use it in February too.
Metrolink trains run weekdays from Glendale to downtown Los Angeles.
A monthly pass from Glendale to Los Angeles costs $80. Sunday is the deadline to buy a January pass from automatic ticket machines at train station stops. However, passes can also be bought during the month at the Metrolink ticket window at Union Station in Los Angeles.
