Tommy Dunbar, who played with the Texas Rangers from 1983-85, has been hired to manage the Cincinnati Reds’ Appalachian League team at Princeton, W.Va. Dunbar, 33, became the third black hired by the Reds’ organization since accusations were made by former employees that owner Marge Schott made racial and anti-Semitic slurs.
