Richard Campbell has been promoted to senior vice president and controller of Southwest Diversified Inc., an Irvine developer of homes and master-planned communities in California and Arizona. He will be responsible for all accounting operations and will manage the home design center. Campbell joined Southwest Diversified in 1987 as assistant controller. He was promoted to controller in 1989 and vice president in 1990. Previously, he was a senior auditor with the accounting firm of Deloitte, Haskins & Sells in Costa Mesa and in Calgary, Canada.
