* Richard B. Waugh Jr. has been appointed corporate vice president and chief financial officer of Northrop Corp., effective Jan. 2.
Waugh succeeds Richard S. Taylor, who retired after spending 35 years at the Los Angeles firm.
Waugh, 49, has served as corporate vice president for taxes, risk management and business analysis since 1985. Most recently, he directed the company’s task force on acquisitions that enabled Northrop to acquire a 49% interest in the Vought Co.
