Regarding the feature “Chump Change? Not These Quotes!” (Dec. 27):
Your caption with the photo of Sharon Stone--”Woman of the Year . . . “--was ridiculous. It was degrading to women.
You shouldn’t give that kind of title to someone who has gained notoriety solely from showing her private parts. You should recognize a woman for her acquired skills, talents, knowledge and abilities.
Next time, use this: “Most Degraded Woman of the Year.”
