Cleveland 63, Los Angeles 55--The Romans cut a nine-point deficit to 51-49 midway through the fourth quarter, but fell short in the third-place game of the Bell tournament. Terryl Woolery (17 points) and Brandon Thomas (12 points) were the top scorers for Los Angeles, which led by as many as eight points in the first quarter.
Records: Los Angeles 7-6, Cleveland 6-6.
