Driver Dies After Her Car Hits Pole

A 56-year-old West Hills woman died after her car slammed into a power pole in Canoga Park, Los Angeles police said Saturday.
Marie Buchaksian was driving a Honda Accord south on Shoup Avenue, just south of Carlson Circle, when the car ran off the road and crashed into a power pole about 9:55 p.m. Friday, Officer Bill Mulvihill said.
Buchaksian was taken to a nearby hospital where she died.
