Marco Albarello of Italy won a 15-kilometer classic-style race and Yelena Vialbe of Russia won a 10-kilometer classic event in World Cup cross-country ski competition at Ulrichen, Switzerland.
Albarello finished in 39 minutes 34.5 seconds, beating World Cup leader Vegard Ulvang of Norway by 10 seconds. Vialbe was timed in 28:43.4, 12.5 seconds ahead of Marja-Liisa Kirvesniemi of Finland.
