The following are selected entries from the crime logs of local law enforcement agencies between Jan. 4 and Jan. 10: Glendale
East Harvard Street, 1200 block--Three CD players and four watches, valued at more than $1,440, and foreign coins of unknown value were stolen from an apartment between 10:45 a.m. and 1:10 p.m. Jan. 4.
South Glendale Avenue, 900 block--A man who got out of his car to discuss a traffic dispute was shot in the knee by the other motorist at 6:50 p.m. Jan. 4.
North Verdugo Road, 200 block--A clerk at a cleaners was robbed at gunpoint of $450 at 9:50 a.m. Jan. 5.
Concord Street and 134 Freeway--Two 14-year-old girls walking home from school were forced at knifepoint into a car with three males who attempted to sexually assault them at 4:45 p.m. Jan. 7. The girls escaped after one kicked an abductor in the groin.
Montrose Avenue, 3100 block--Burglars apparently used a security code to enter a condominium where a couple was sleeping between midnight and 6 a.m. Jan. 7 and stole a wallet with $300 and credit cards.
South Central Avenue, 1000 block--A transient reported that he had been beaten and robbed of $60 Jan. 7.
Glendale Avenue, 400 block--Thieves broke the glass door of an office and stole a TV and VCR of unknown value Jan. 7 or 8.
Fairfield Street, 1400 block--A VCR, cassette player, gold earrings and a diamond ring of unknown value were stolen from a house after burglars smashed a window between 7:45 a.m. and 6:10 p.m. Jan. 8.
Verdugo Road and Colorado Street--A woman in a supermarket parking lot was robbed of her purse, which contained $30, by a man who simulated that he had a gun at 7:05 p.m. Jan. 8.
South Belmont Street, 500 block--Burglars used a crowbar to open an apartment window and stole a TV, two VCRs, an entertainment center and a microwave, valued at $2,230, and jewelry of unknown value between 5 and 10:30 p.m. Jan. 8.
Mariposa Street, 1200 block--A thief entered a room in a retirement home through an unlocked sliding door and stole a TV. He woke the victim as he fled at 2:30 a.m. Jan. 9, and she screamed.
North Central Avenue, 1200 block--A man in a supermarket parking lot obtaining vended water was robbed at gunpoint of his wallet, which contained $30, by two men at 1:10 a.m. Jan. 9.
West Elk Avenue, 400 block--Four men assaulted a pizza delivery man and robbed him of $10 and checks at 6:45 p.m. Jan. 10.
East Lomita Avenue, 1000 block--A pizza delivery man was assaulted by three men and robbed at knifepoint of $100, two pizzas and a leather jacket, valued at $166, at 8:30 p.m. Jan. 10.
Allen Avenue, 1000 block--Three men with pistols entered a house at 10:10 p.m. Jan. 10, tied up one man, forced his wife into a bathroom and then went upstairs and tied up two other men who had been sleeping. The thieves took stereo equipment and a video camera, valued at $1,900, and $500.
La Canada/Flintridge
Chevy Chase Drive, 4300 block--A toolbox and tools, valued at $310, and two car batteries, valued at $169, were stolen from an open garage between 12:40 and 8:30 a.m. Jan. 10.
La Crescenta
Orange Avenue, 3000 block--A woman reported that her purse and wallet, valued at $80, and $55 were stolen from her locked home on Jan. 3 or 4.
Atwater Village
Glendale Boulevard and Fletcher Drive--A man grabbed a woman’s purse and money, valued at $100, and fled in a waiting vehicle at 6:50 p.m. Jan. 4.
Glendale Boulevard, 2500 block--A woman in a parking lot was robbed of her purse and money, valued at $400, by a man who grabbed it from her at 8 p.m. Jan. 4.
Alger Street, 4300 block--Thieves cut the padlock on a security fence at a manufacturing company and stole a dog and a chemical solution from a tank, valued together at $11,000, on Jan. 6 or 7.

Silverwood Drive, 1600 block--Property valued at $3,000 was stolen from a house between 10 a.m. and 2:30 p.m. Jan. 4.
Townsend Avenue, 5000 block--Burglars cut the lock off the front door of a house and stole appliances valued at $2,825 between Jan. 6 and 8.
Loleta Avenue, 5100 block--A TV and video equipment valued at $900 were stolen from an apartment between 7 and 8 p.m. Jan. 7.
Colorado Boulevard, 2600 block--A department store clerk was robbed at gunpoint of $693 at 6:10 p.m. Jan. 8.
Verdugo Road, 4400 block--A woman leaving her vehicle in a parking lot was robbed at gunpoint of her purse and wallet, valued at $706, by a man at 10:55 a.m. Jan. 9.
Echo Park
West Sunset Boulevard, 1600 block--Two men with a knife tried to rob a man of his vehicle at 7 p.m. Jan. 4. The victim refused and was stabbed in the side, but the men fled without the car.
Scott Avenue and Academy Road--Four assailants robbed a man of his vehicle at gunpoint, kidnaped him and took money and jewelry, valued at $12,200, at 3 p.m. Jan. 5. The thieves dropped the victim off at Riverside Drive.
Golden Gate Avenue, 1600 block--Burglars stole a stereo and video equipment, valued at $1,470, from an apartment on Jan. 7 or 8.
Stadium Way, 1400 block--Thieves ransacked a house and stole a TV and video equipment, valued at $3,513, between 10:50 a.m. and 7 p.m. Jan. 8.
Alpine Street and Beaudry Avenue--Two men pushed a woman to the ground and took her purse and wallet, valued at $220, at 3 p.m. Jan. 8.
Glassell Park
Division Street, 2700 block--A man in a business was robbed of jewelry, valued at $65, by a gunman at 3:30 p.m. Jan. 5.
Andrita Street, 3300 block--Appliances and other property valued at $2,225 were stolen from a storage shed between 12:30 and 9 a.m. Jan. 6.
San Fernando Road, 3100 block--Two men entered a business and robbed employees of money and jewelry, valued at $752, at 8:45 p.m. Jan. 6.
Highland Park
Garvanza Avenue, 6400 block--A man knocked on an apartment door, forced a man to open it at gunpoint, and then hit the victim and robbed him of jewelry and money, valued at $420, at 4 a.m. Jan. 4.
Stratford Road, 5600 block--Two men brandishing a screwdriver robbed a man of his truck at 10:25 p.m. Jan. 4.
North Avenue 54, 400 block--A man was robbed of his vehicle at 9 a.m. Jan. 5 by a man with a gun, while another man stood by as a lookout.
Fayette Street, 5900 block--A woman was robbed of her purse, valued at $204, and her vehicle by two men with a gun at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 5.
Avenue 56 and Figueroa Street--A woman who had just used an automated bank teller was robbed of $30 by two men with a screwdriver at 8:45 p.m. Jan. 5.
North Avenue 52, 200 block--A man who came out of his house after his vehicle was bumped at 11:30 p.m. Jan. 6 was robbed at gunpoint of his wallet, valued at $25, by four men.
Garrison Drive, 6100 block--Thieves removed the glass louvers from a window of a house and stole a TV and video equipment, valued at $2,125, between 8:30 a.m. and 7 p.m. Jan. 7.
Meridian Street, 5600 block--Burglars may have had a pass key to an apartment where a TV and video equipment, valued at $1,730, were stolen between 10:15 and 10:30 p.m. Jan. 7.
Buchanan and Aldama streets--A man and a woman tricked a woman into entering their car, where they robbed her of money and jewelry, valued at $600, at 1:55 p.m. Jan. 8.
Eagle Rock Boulevard, 4400 block--Two men entered a fast-food restaurant at 3:25 a.m. Jan. 9, ordered two employees to the back of the business and forced a third employee to open the safe. The bandits fled with $200.
North Avenue 50, 400 block--Two men forced a man to give them $55 from his wallet at 7:35 a.m. Jan. 9.
Avenue 50 and Granada Street--One man with a handgun and another with a screwdriver robbed a man of money and credit cards, valued at $93, at 9:30 a.m. Jan. 9.
Mendota Avenue, 4700 block--Money and jewelry, valued at $1,802, were stolen from a house between 4 and 10 p.m. Jan. 9.
Figueroa Street and Avenue 55--Two men were killed by gunshots fired from a passing vehicle at 2:15 a.m. Jan. 10.
Los Feliz
Hillhurst Avenue, 2100 block--Thieves smashed the glass door of a hair salon and stole supplies and equipment, valued at $1,260, at 12:30 a.m. Jan. 4.
Ames Street, 2000 block--Burglars entered a house through an unlocked window and stole supplies and equipment, valued at $2,130, on Jan. 6 or 7.
Lyric Avenue, 2100 block--A woman on was robbed of her purse, valued at $1,060, by a man who fled in a waiting vehicle at 11 p.m. Jan. 7.
Sunset Boulevard, 4400 block--A man with a gun robbed a movie theater employee of $300 at 10:50 p.m. Jan. 8.
Franklin and Vermont avenues--A man simulated that he had a gun and robbed a woman of $170 at 12:10 a.m. Jan. 10.
Silver Lake
Silver Lake Boulevard, 2200 block--Household goods and tools valued at $1,420 were stolen from a garage on Jan. 8 or 9.
