Thanks for printing the article on Chouinard’s responsible business practices. It’s great to have our attention called to a positive, ethical, forward-looking business philosophy. From his realization of the harmful consequences of incessant expansion in a depleted, struggling world to the selection of the least damaging materials, Chouinard demonstrates a heartening awareness, conscience and care. It seems clear he’s willing to take business risks for the sake of doing what’s right.
