Marina Eltsova and Andrei Bushkov of Russia won the pairs competition in the European Figure Skating Championships at Helsinki. It was Russia’s first title as a separate country.
Germans Mandy Woetzel and Ingo Steuer were second, and Russia’s Evgenia Shishkova and Vadim Naumov finished third.
