SIMI VALLEY : Meeting Schedule Changed by Board

The Simi Valley school board has adopted a new schedule for its regular meetings this year, a move board members said will give district staff more time to prepare meeting agendas.
Simi Valley Unified District school board meetings will now be held every three weeks, beginning with the board’s Feb. 2 meeting.
Previously, meetings were held on the first and third Tuesday of the month.
Under the new schedule, adopted Tuesday, the 1993 regular meeting dates are: Feb. 2 and 23, March 16, April 6 and 27, May 18, June 8 and 29, July 20, Aug. 10 and 31, Sept. 21, Oct. 12, Nov. 2 and 23, and Dec. 14.
The school board will continue to meet at 7 p.m. in the council chambers at Simi Valley City Hall, 2929 Tapo Canyon Road.
