COOL NEWS: If you’re sick of the rain, you might be sick of the cold temperatures too. You’re right if you think it’s cooler this year than last. The average high in the county last month, for example, was 66 degrees--compared to 69 degrees in December, 1991. . . . A spokeswoman for WeatherData Inc., a weather information service, says this winter is about one degree cooler than the county’s historical winter average. By the way, more rain is expected today and Saturday, with highs in the low 60s and no letup before Sunday. (B1, B7)
