They Do All but Tuck in Passengers

LONDON — Cabin crews at British Airways will soon have first-class passengers fed, in their pajamas and packed off to bed before takeoff.
The airline said Friday that it plans to start “sleeper trials,” offering pajamas and comforter blankets to first-class passengers on transatlantic night flights from New York and Boston.
BA will also offer these passengers supper in their special departure lounge before takeoff so that they can sleep on the plane without interruption.
If the trials prove popular, the airline will extend the facilities to other routes, an airline spokeswoman said.
