SCHOOL ISSUE? Abortion may be a volatile national issue, but Pro-Choice Orange County is starting a new campaign this month to bring it home to all politicians here. The group plans to identify which elected officials are abortion rights advocates in every office--including every school board and city council. It’s calling the drive “Project Local Awareness.” . . . “Our members have asked for this information during prior election campaigns,” says a group spokeswoman.
