Harrick Isn’t Drawing Any Sympathy, Either

So Jim Harrick is upset again. It seems that no one appreciates his accomplishments as UCLA basketball coach. Well, let’s see: He has won one conference title in four years, exactly the same as Walt Hazzard. His record against top-20 teams is something like 6-18. His fundamentally unsound brand of basketball is drawing about 6,000 fans per game to Pauley Pavilion.

I would strongly urge Harrick to go someplace where his peculiar talents would be recognized. I suggest Fantasyland, the only place he might be paid as much as Bobby Knight.
