HOTBLOODED

It’s been a long time since anything has fanned my cultural flames, but “Muy Macho,” by Cecilia Rodriguez and Marjorie Miller (Dec. 6), got my blood boiling.
As a second-generation Mexican-American, I was offended by their misrepresentations. The authors concluded that machos disdain women. I, for one, disdain cruel stereotypes, gross generalities, prejudice and ignorance from both men and women. If that makes me macho, so be it.
