I do think that there should be harsher consequences for lack of morals. Students would be discouraged from cheating and stealing if they were made to realize they would have something to lose by doing it.
Another issue is: Whose morals? If we left it up to the schools and were taught “morals and ethics” in the classroom next to math and English, there would have to be a set standard. As I see it, the schools are teaching low morals and bad ethics by even considering to pass out condoms. I definitely believe that it would be too dangerous to leave the teaching of morals up to the schools.
