Mike Hunter, a late replacement when former World Boxing Assn. heavyweight champion Tony Tubbs failed a drug test, scored a unanimous 12-round decision over Tyrell Biggs in Las Vegas to win the vacant U.S. Boxing Assn. heavyweight championship. Hunter, 32, raised his record to 20-3-2 with eight knockouts. Biggs, 32, fell to 25-6 with 17 knockouts.
