Evgeny Davydov scored with 5:47 left and the Winnipeg Jets rallied from a three-goal deficit to defeat the Hartford Whalers, 8-7, Tuesday night at Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, for their seventh consecutive victory. Tomas Steen and Teppo Numminen each scored twice and Phil Housley had five assists for Winnipeg.
Boston 4, San Jose 3--Adam Oates scored power-play goals 47 seconds apart in the third period and assisted on the Bruins’ two other goals in a victory over the Sharks at Boston.
