Students Can Do Their Part

My wife and I saw with interest the picture in Sunday’s paper of the Palmdale High School yard covered with trash.
Has anyone among the administrators, teachers or pupils thought about a little self-help? Is there enough pride within this group to organize its own cleanup effort? Has anyone thought about starting a program to keep the grounds clean all the time, so that the janitors can do those things that only they can do?
