Wedding Insurance --Picture That

SAN FRANCISCO — Here comes the bride, and here comes the bridal insurance policy.
For $95, Fireman’s Fund Insurance Co. of Novato, Calif., is offering couples tying the knot some peace of mind. Reception hall downed by tornado? Covered. Bridegroom called away to war on the eve of the nuptials? Covered. Death in the family caused a postponement? Covered.
The basic policy will pay as much as $3,000 in non-refundable deposits, $1,500 in expenses if the photos get double-exposed and $1,000 for crushed gifts.
Many things aren’t covered, a spokesman noted, “like if the wedding cake falls down or the honeymoon doesn’t work out.”
