SEA VIEW LEAGUE BOYS’ BASKETBALL : Three-Point Shot Gets Saddleback Past Irvine, 47-46

Chris Bradshaw made a three-point shot with 26 seconds left to give Saddleback a 47-46 victory over Irvine in a Sea View League boys’ basketball game Friday at Saddleback.
Rob Holloway had 15 points, Bradshaw had 11 and Hector Gallarzo had 11 for the Roadrunners (6-14, 2-8). Eric Ambrozich had 21 points for Irvine, which drops to 14-5, 5-4.
In other league games:
Tustin 77, Newport Harbor 66--Rod Scheuerman had 24 points and Dejuan Matthews had 19 points for visiting Tustin (16-5, 7-2).
Eric Vallely had 18 points for Newport Harbor (10-11, 3-6).
Santa Margarita 63, Corona del Mar 57--Adam Dzierzynski had 16 points and eight assists for host Santa Margarita, which used a 9-0 run midway through the fourth quarter to take control.
Brian Finneran scored 14 points for the Eagles (17-3, 8-1), ranked fifth in the county. Chris Quinn had 27 points and Todd Merriman added 21 for Woodbridge (4-5 in league).
University 53, Woodbridge 50--Demi Zeigler, the county’s leading scorer, had 23 points for University (5-14, 2-7). Robert Luna also contributed with 14 points. Woodbridge drops to 5-4, 11-8.
