I read your article on Michael Palin (TV Times, Jan. 10) with great interest.
However, you indicate in a photo caption that Palin is reading a Russian newspaper two days before the coup in 1991. In fact, Mr. Palin is reading a copy of Milliyet, a Turkish daily, two days after the coup.
