As a mother, Murphy Brown is an atrocious role model.
She’s an obnoxious tyrant who bullies nearly all the people in her life and is constantly flying into irrational temper tantrums.
Since she dumps on everyone she encounters, who’s to say that a child would be spared her wrath?
She treats her son more like a pet than a person--witness the dumb running gag about changing his name.
