Kerkorian Challenges French Bank: Financier Kirk Kerkorian’s battle with the French bank Credit Lyonnais is heating up. The billionaire challenged the bank to produce documents that the bank is claiming show Kerkorian conspired with Italian financier Giancarlo Parretti, who bought the MGM studio from Kerkorian in 1990, to “embellish” earnings and cash flow projections to dupe Credit Lyonnais into financing the deal. Kerkorian’s lawyers said the bank recently claimed that it uncovered the documents. Kerkorian and Credit Lyonnais are suing each other over the deal.
