Girl, 4, Wounded in Drive-By Shooting

A 4-year-old girl was in stable condition after being shot during an apparent drive-by attack Thursday night near 113th and Figueroa streets in South-Central Los Angeles, police said.
The child, whose name was not released, apparently was hit by gunfire intended for others in the 8 p.m. incident, a Los Angeles police spokesman said. The girl was being treated at Martin Luther King Jr./Drew Medical Center for undisclosed injuries.
An adult, who was shot in the foot during the attack, was not hospitalized, authorities said. The adult’s identity was not known.
