OPEC Strategy Session Opens: OPEC oil ministers gathered in Vienna for weekend strategy talks aimed at slashing production and persuading skeptical markets that they are ready to put a floor under weak oil prices. With traders poised to punish any failure by the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries to mop up a glut of oil, ministers are under pressure to nail down a plan to cut output by about 1 million barrels a day. OPEC overproduction last year left markets awash with crude and drove prices down 20%.
