If Abcarian was so unhappy that her friend had to go through so much red tape to obtain an abortion, and if adding five weeks to the pregnancy made the fetus more viable and, thus, harder to kill, why didn’t she just take her paycheck and pay for the procedure? Or was she too ambivalent for that?
