Singled Out

Omitted from Christopher Reynolds’ article (“Solo Globetrotters Find Strength in Numbers,” Feb. 14) was mention of Globus and Cosmos as a marvelous source of affordable travel for those of us who are single. Not only does this company pair you with a “share” at no extra cost to you; if you wish, they will also provide you with private accommodations for a reasonably priced single supplement. As a frequent traveler (in her 50s) I have experienced this company twice on extremely well organized tours, once to Russia and again through Ireland. On both occasions, I left feeling I received much more than the cost of the tours. All ages were represented (teens through senior citizens), as well as couples and singles.
